bonial embraces a hybrid work model. While we require employees with a German contract to be based in Germany and attend the office at least three times a month, you have the flexibility to work from anywhere within Germany for the rest of the time.
From time to time we collaborate with freelancers on temporary projects. In case we do, you will find this on our website.

Interview Process
Embark on a three-stage journey with us for a comprehensive experience of bonial's vibrant culture! It starts with a recruiter interview to understand your motivations, followed by a role-specific assessment with the Hiring Manager, and culminates in a Team Day, featuring case studies or coding challenges.
While we don't use assessment centers, our hiring process includes practical assessments like case studies or coding challenges in the final interview round, giving you a hands-on experience of what it's like to be part of bonial.
Our tailor-made Case Studies help us learn how you think about and approach topics in general to build a discussion around them.
We want to ensure that candidates and team members will get to know each other.
Yes! If you share the link to your Github account or any other open-source code, we will consider it.

No, unfortunately, we are unable to provide accommodation or support you in finding an apartment. However, we will always help you should you have any questions in this regard.
Onboarding Process
During your onboarding experience, we will ensure that you are fully prepared for the exciting challenges ahead.
We will provide you with information about the company, our business, and our culture and an introduction to Berlin if you are new to the city.
On your first day, you will have a general welcome session with all other Newbos (New bonialers) and then will be handed over your choice of hardware with a proper IT onboarding. The next session is reserved for all topics that concern you as an employee, such as our HR tool, etc. During the rest of your first six weeks at bonial, you will be invited to various onboarding sessions that will help to give you a broad overview of our departments and business areas.
We currently don't have a buddy program, however, absolutely everyone at bonial is always very happy to help out a fellow bonialer, so don't hesitate to reach out. We also have a slack channel for our Newbos, where you can post all questions and will quickly be helped out.
Most of the time you can choose whether you want to work on a Windows laptop or MacBook. Only some positions are unable to choose due to certain programs and tools needed for the role.
Working Student / Intern Questions

To be a working student at bonial, you need to be enrolled full-time in a German university. We look for students in relevant fields who are keen to learn and eager to apply their knowledge in a practical environment.
We understand the importance of balancing work and studies. Our working students and interns enjoy flexible schedules, arranged in harmony with their academic commitments, to ensure a smooth and productive experience aligned with the supervisor and the needs of the tasks and responsibilities.
We always try to offer our working students employment after graduation, if roles are available. In fact, many of our current team members started as working students and decided to stay with us after getting their degrees.
